On the 1st Thursday of the month from October 2022 to March 2023, NCHL families meet at Oliver Woods Community Centre. (behind Nanaimo North Town Centre)
The gym is available from 1 to 3 pm plus the attached Monarch Room #2 from 12:30 to 4 pm to socialize and exercise.
Kids of all ages get active in the gym and outdoor playground while parents share stories, ideas and resources in the meeting room.
Featuring an extensive lending library and exchange table (where families can donate and/or pick up clothing, books, toys), the monthly meetings are a great place to connect with other parents who are taking the lead on their children's education and wellbeing.
Tea and light snacks are available.
Free for NCHL Members.
$5.00 drop-in fee for non-members.
NCHL's Google group offers a place to ask questions, share resources, and perhaps start planning a new event, activity or program, with or for other homeschool families.
Our Google group members share information about upcoming activities and events and homeschool tips.
This is just a sampling of the family organized events and activities that could be put on throughout the year.
New ideas and organizers are always welcome!

- Family Potluck (June)
